As part of our cooperation with gmp Architects, we also competed for the design of an international terminal at Riga Airport designated for Air Baltic. As such, the aim of the project was to to reorganize and coordinate passenger flows in line with requirements stipulated by Air Baltic as well as the traffic forecast. Our services entailed the preparation of a space allocation programme, a passenger flow concept including gate design and an optimization of the interior terminal organization. Our two firms yet again benefited from our combined expertise; gmp Architects developed an architectural concept and building design, while we were focused on the functional terminal design.
